About The Stop's Green Barn Farmer's Market

Located on the site of the historic Wychwood streetcar barns at Christie and St Clair, The Stop's Green Barn is a satellite site of The Stop and an incubator for our visionary message of food security, health promotion, human dignity and community building.
Our Farmers Market features fresh local food that supports Ontario's farmers.
The anchor in the dynamic redevelopment of the 4.3 acre public space known collectively as the Green Arts Barns, The Stops's Green Barn will include a year-round greenhouse, sheltered gardens, bake oven, compost demonstarion project, community kitchen and classroom.
Our new greenhouse will make it possible for us to provide more fresh and nutrious food for our low-income community - all year-round. And with teching grade kitchen and classroom, we'll be able to expand our education programs and demonstrate The Stop's unique approach to the entire city.
