This past Saturday, Ward 21 councillor Joe Mihevc joined the club of Bell Ringers at the Green Barn Market. Joe was there in his chef attire.  The councillor, full of energy made the ceremony one to remember.  Market manager Cookie Roscoe Handford presented Joe with his "Bell Ringer" club membership card.  He was greeted and welcomed to the club by past bell ringers.  Joe was later available for conversation at the Kurtis Coffee Booth. The "Coffee with the Councillor" segment was enjoyable.  Topics discussed ranged from city issues to Slovenia and Greece qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.  8:00am is becoming a very interesting time to be at the market. For any early birds interested in opening the market, drop by the Kurtis Coffee booth or contact Cookie Roscoe Handford and give them the phrase: "I want to join the club".  Everybody is welcome to come and be part of this fun ritual.
