LOOK FOR THE TTC STOPS. All the new interim stops eastbound and westbound for the 512 St. Clair bus are marked by a TTC Bus Stop sign attached to the large orange and black traffic pylons. They are difficult to see and many people are unsure where the buses are supposed to stop. The stops for the westbound 512 Keele bus at Bathurst St. are now east of Bathurst at the end of the Crosstown carwash. The eastbound 512 St. Clair Station Bathurst St. and the eastbound Vaughan Rd. stops are just east of the corners. The westbound Vaughan Rd stop is still at the west side of Raglan Ave. There is always another bus, so please take your time, be careful and watch for the traffic on St. Clair. Check to see that you are using the pedestrian corridors set up by the construction crews to keep you out of the street and safe. Temporary route change - construction Starting from 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 24 until 6:00 a.m., Monday, November 27, the City of Toronto will conduct pedestrian crossing reconstruction and road resurfacing in the intersection of St. Clair Avenue West & Avenue Road.
During the project, service will be split in two: Buses will run between Eglinton Station and St. Clair Station via Heath Street, in both directions. And buses will run between St. Clair Station and Queen’s Park / Gerrard Street. Customers must transfer at St. Clair Station to continue their trip.
