Carry an Umbrella! The line-ups for the Westbound 512 Keele bus are long and, lately, very damp outside of the St. Clair West subway station. Waiting at Bathurst St. is not much better, although the north-side sidewalks are mostly finished. The traffic lanes have been opened up on the north side of St. Clair, so the delays have eased somewhat and the buses are moving faster. There has been no word yet from the TTC as to when the 512 Keele Bus will be back inside the station, so be prepared for a sometimes cold, wet wait. If you are using the surface routes on St. Clair and boarding eastbound buses at either Bathurst St. or Vaughan Rd, again as with the construction on the north side, please be very careful. The St. Clair south-side sidewalks from Wells Hill Park to just past the corner of Vaughan Rd. have been ripped up and metal barriers and plastic pylons are being used to separate pedestrians from the vehicle traffic. There has been a change to the 33 FOREST HILL bus.The north end of the route will be changed, and buses will now loop using Eglinton Avenue, Chaplin Crescent, Roselawn Avenue, Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue. Buses will run every 30 minutes throughout the day.
