August is a fine time for a party and Regal Heights Village BIA had a

great party on Wed August 19th , 2009!

The "Welcome to RHV BIA party was a 'meet and greet' Mixer for the all the businesses,

property owners and merchants from the 'new' area, Glenholme Ave east to

Oakwood Ave and everyone from Westmount Ave east to Glenholme Ave. 

People from both sides of Glenholme Ave had a great time

talking about their common complaints and delights of owning and operating 

a business on St Clair Ave. 

The RHV BIA Chair Sarah Lockett (Ontario School of Ballet) introduced several

different topics including, the 2009/2010  'ShopStClair , Shop Local" campaign,

the parking problems, the BIA and the City's effort to fix them,
 
and the effort and cooperation that is needed from the merchants, business and

property owners to get through the TTC construction and the recessionary times.

The get-together was very lively with lots of spirited debates and conversations

and  every one got a chance to see some of their fellow  BIA members

and hear other points of view.

It may become a yearly do!!!
