Message to Resident Associations from Emergency Management
Tue Feb 28, 2017

Preparedness is everyone's responsibility

Emergencies by definition are unpredictable. Emergencies are also disruptive to people's daily routines, and this disruption can last for several days or more before things get back to normal. If individuals and families take some practical steps to become prepared, families can greatly reduce the negative effects of unforeseen events.

The City of Toronto's Office of Emergency Management can help you and the members of your Residents Association by giving you steps to take to minimize the negative effects of emergencies. We invite you to visit our website at www.toronto.ca/oem for information on how you can "Get Emergency Ready". If you're interested in having an in person presentation at your next Resident's Association meeting please fill out our on-line form.  Alternately, you can also speak to me in person at 416-338-3927.

Contact us and we'll see you soon.
