Last week the Etobicoke Community Council voted unanimously to change the proposed DROW design of the streetcar dedicated right-of-way (DROW) at the St Clair / Dufferin intersection (click here for the full story).

Today the matter went to the full City Council where the motion to change the design was approved by a vote of 21 to 8.

Construction of the DROW in Corso Italia is expected to begin late August or early September.
